PASH

PASH does not provide medical advice,
we only impart information.

The Pacemaker Arrhythmia Self Help Group (PASH) are members of the Cardiac Society of B.C., a non profit society formed for the purpose of supporting cardiac rehabilitation at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, B.C.

The mission of the PASH group is to provide educational, emotional and social support to individuals with arrhythmia who have pacemakers or those who are potential candidates for pacemaker implants or ablations. At our meetings we share knowledge, feelings, experiences and insights in a supportive environment. We help one another grow, foster acceptance of our disease/illness and provide support from peers as well as professional speakers.

The PASH group includes all individuals with rhythm disorders of the heart. These rhythm disorders include: AF (Atrial Fibrillation), LAF (Lone Atrial Fibrillation), SSS (Sick Sinus Syndrome), VT (Ventricular Tachycardia) and many more. Treatment solutions discussed include, but are not limited to: medical management, ablation, pacemakers, ICD's (implantable cardiac defibrillators), naturopathic remedies and more.

Membership in the Cardiac Society provides receipt of regular newsletters, access to support groups, volunteering opportunities and input into the direction of the association. Additionally, members are notified of all PASH Group meetings and receive any special guidance communications specific to arrhythmia conditions.
